Asian Chicken in Orange Sauce with Rice

Prepare the sauce. Grate the washed orange zest into a bowl and squeeze in the juice. Peel and grate the ginger and garlic. Add soy sauce, white wine vinegar, sugar, and water.

Peel and slice the onion into strips. Rinse the broccoli and cut it into small florets. Peel and slice the stem as well.

Bring water to a boil for the rice. Cook the rice according to the package instructions.

Cut the chicken thighs into 4-5 pieces and coat them in flour.

Heat a pan with oil. Add the chicken and fry for 6-8 minutes until browned. Season with salt and black pepper.

Add the onions and broccoli to the pan. Continue frying for a short while. Add more oil if needed.

Pour the sauce into the pan. Bring to a boil and let it simmer for 6-8 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add water if necessary.

Serve the Asian chicken with rice.
