- Pasta:
- 4-5 l water
- 2 tspsalt
- 1 pkgpasta
- 0.5 tbspoil
- Sauce:
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic clove
- 1 pkgcherry tomatoes
- 1 pkghalloumi-type cheese
- 1 pkgbacon
- 1 tbspoil
- 0.5 tspsalt
- 0.5 tspblack pepper
- 1 pkgpaprika powder
- 1 pkgdried oregano
- 1 pkgcooking cream
- 1Pour water into a pot and bring it to a boil. Add salt, then the pasta, and cook over low heat for about 10 minutes, or until al dente. Drain well and toss with a little oil.
- 2Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic. Wash the cherry tomatoes and cut them in half.
- 3Cut the halloumi cheese and bacon into small cubes.
- 4Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add the halloumi cheese and fry for about 4–5 minutes until golden brown. Then set it aside on a plate.
- 5Reheat the same pan and add the bacon. Fry for 3–4 minutes until golden.
- 6Add the onion, garlic and cherry tomatoes to the pan. Sauté for another 1–2 minutes. Season with salt, black pepper, sweet paprika and dried oregano.
- 7Pour the cooking cream into the pan and simmer over low heat for about 5 minutes.
- 8Stir the cooked pasta and halloumi cheese into the sauce.
- 9Serve the pasta on plates and enjoy.
