Mushrooms and bacon are a classic combination that never disappoints. Together with pasta, they form the base of a hearty dish, complemented by fresh arugula and softened with grated Parmesan-style cheese. Simple yet so delicious, it’s a meal the whole family will enjoy.

Sauce:: 1 onion; 2 garlic clove; 1 pkgmushrooms; 1 pkgbacon; 1 tspsalt; 0.5 tspblack pepper; 1 pkgdried thyme; 1 pkgwine vinegar; 1 pkgcooking cream; 1.5 dlwater
Additional ingredients:: 400-500g pasta; 1 tbspoil; 1 pkgrocket; pinch salt; pinch black pepper; 2 tbspolive oil; 1 pkgparmesan-style cheese

Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic. Rinse the mushrooms and slice them.Cut the bacon into strips.

Pour 4–5 liters of water into a large pot and bring it to a boil.Heat the bacon in a pan and sauté it for 4–5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the package. Once cooked, drain it well and mix it with some oil.

Add the onion, garlic, and mushrooms to the pan. Continue sautéing for another 3–4 minutes, and season with salt, black pepper, dried thyme, and white wine vinegar.

Pour in the cooking cream, rinse the package with a little water, and add it to the mixture. Bring to a boil and simmer for 5–8 minutes.

Rinse the rocket salad under cold water, let it drain, and place it in a bowl. Season with salt, black pepper, and olive oil.

Serve the pasta on plates, add the rocket salad, and top with grated cheese.
